Join Villanova University’s Chapter of the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP-Villanova) as we walk, run, skip, wheel, swim, dance or prance the 801 miles from Villanova University to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, site of the 2014 NSNA convention in support of the National Student Nurses’ Association’s (NSNA) “Healthy You” initiative. “Healthy” is an acronym for: Healing, Enlightening And Loving The Healthy You! All you need to do is enter your Name, School, E-mail address, and the miles that you have walked, danced, run, biked, wheeled or pranced today. We will add them up and occasionally report to all on our progress. If you prefer….keep your own record. On the starting date of Aug 26, 2013 there are 228 days until April 11, the start of the 2014 convention, and that means 3.51 miles per day. That’s 7,026 -8,782 steps, based on 2,000-2,500 steps per mile, so continue onward to reach the healthy recommendation of 10,000 steps per day. (Check estimates of number of steps per mile, based on your height for a more accurate number.) Be HEALTHY and support NSNA. Come with SNAP-Villanova all the way to Nashville!
